FAST RISING DOUGH FOR PARKERHOUSE ROLLS

2 yeast cakes (soften in 1/2 c. warm water)

Add 1/4 c. sugar (I use 1 Tbs. of dry yeast for 1 yeast cake)

Sift together 6 cups flour, 1/2 cup powdered milk, 1 Tbs. salt. Put in large bowl, make a space in middle, put 2 cups warm water, 2 beaten eggs, 1/2 cup melted shsrtening or salad oil. Then yeast mixture. Mix all up then cover and let rise for 1 hour. It will be sticky. Put on board with flour and roll out and cut and make rolls. Let rise about 15 to 20 minutes. A very soft dough. Bake at 400 to 425 for 10 minutes.
Makes 36 to 50 rolls.
